A new section titled “R&D and TCS” has been opened on the website oilresource.ru. It contains answers to the questions that are most frequently asked by investors, partners, and industry experts: who is developing the technology, how it works, what stage it is at, and how it will be applied in practice.

The section includes three blocks:

Science & Technology Center — about who is behind the development: the center’s structure, areas of work, and partners including CNPC, the the Competence Center for Technological Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex under the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Skoltech, KFU, and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

TCS — how it works: supercritical water is injected into the oil-bearing formation triggering oil upgrading processes directly in the oil-bearing formation and making reserves that are inaccessible to traditional methods available for extraction. Here you will also find the target objects, stages of testing, and scientific publications.

TCS Fleet — about how technology is turned into a service: a mobile complex of surface and downhole equipment, and full‑cycle engineering — from site selection to impact assessment.

Transparency is especially important for bondholders right now. As the tests progress, the section will be filled with photos from the site, actual data, and intermediate results.
