The production of a supercritical water generator, the main element of the MTT technological complex, has been completed at the partner plant in China.
The equipment is not a serial solution. The generator was designed and manufactured by the Chinese party according to the technical specifications of "Oil Resource" LLC specifically for the implementation of the MTT technology considering Russian operating conditions.
The project has become unique not only for the Russian but also for the Chinese party. The production of a generator in a mobile version with such heat medium parameters and technical specifications was carried out for the first time. During the implementation of the project, new engineering solutions were developed and introduced, necessary for the operation of the complex in the conditions of Russian oil fields of various viscosities.
At all stages of production, the equipment was under the supervision of "Oil Resource" LLC technical specialists who were present at the manufacturer's site and participated in the final tests. Additionally, changes were made to the design of the complex considering the requirements of the Russian supervisory authorities for the subsequent commissioning of the equipment on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The final tests have been successfully completed, and an equipment acceptance certificate has been signed. After the tests are completed, CNPC's subsidiary, The Eighth Construction Company of CNPC Ltd. — completed the shipment of equipment to Russia in accordance with the agreed deadlines.
The next stage of the project is the delivery of equipment, installation of the complex, and preparation for pilot testing of the MTT technology at Russian fields.
For "Oil Resource" LLC, this is an important step towards the practical implementation of its own oilfield service solutions to improve oil recovery and work with hard-to-recover oil reserves.
