SPIEF 2026: "Oil Resource" strengthens partnerships and develops technological agenda

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)— one of the key business events of the year, has come to an end. For "Oil Resource", participation in SPIEF 2026 was an opportunity to present the company's technological developments, hold a series of business meetings and strengthen cooperation with partners.

During the forum, Semyon Garagul, General Director of "Oil Resource" LLC, signed two cooperation agreements aimed at developing and implementing innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry, jointly developing technological products and improving the efficiency of production processes.

The central topic of the company's stand was the MTT technology, one of the promising areas of work of the "Oil Resource" Scientific and Technological Center (STC) in the field of enhanced oil recovery and work with hard-to-recover reserves.

The stand concept was built around the idea of combining natural resources and modern technologies. In addition to visual solutions, the guests could get acquainted with the branded fragrance "The Power of Oil", specially designed for the company. The composition with woody, smoky and oil notes was used in interior diffusers and aromatic sachets creating an additional sensory dimension of the brand and making acquaintance with the stand more memorable.

Despite the fact that the SPIEF is traditionally primarily an economic venue, the company's stand was visited by representatives of oil companies, investors and media representatives. During the meetings, prospects for the introduction of enhanced oil recovery technologies and the development of oilfield service solutions for mature fields were discussed.

Today, the MTT technology is at the stage of adaptation to the conditions of the fields of the Ural-Volga region. Its own licensed area has been acquired for pilot testing, a well is under construction, and complexes of surface and borehole equipment are being manufactured. A heat medium generator designed according to the company's technical requirements is currently being shipped.

"The growing share of hard-to-recover reserves requires the emergence of new technological solutions for the oil industry. Therefore, interest in enhanced oil recovery technologies is naturally growing today. During the business program of the forum, this topic was repeatedly raised by representatives of the industry which confirms the relevance of the direction that our scientific and technological center is developing," said Konstantin Prochukhan, Head of the "Oil Resource" STC, Doctor of Technical Sciences.

This year, "Oil Resource" plans to launch pilot tests of the technology at its own field.

"For us, participation in the forum is an opportunity not only to strengthen partnerships but also to demonstrate that Russian companies are able to create their own technological solutions for the oil and gas industry. The signed agreements, meetings held and interest in our developments confirm the relevance of the chosen direction of growth. We would like to thank our partners, our stand guests, and forum participants for their interest in the company's projects and for their meaningful dialogue about the future of the Russian oil industry," Semyon Garagul, Director General of "Oil Resource" LLC, said.
